John Freeman Helps Deliver Trusted, Secure and Actionable Solutions

Alpharetta, Ga., Aug. 13, 2025 – Verisma, the leader in health information lifecycle management solutions, announces today John Freeman joins the company as Director of Interoperability to extend the organization’s strong interoperability position across release of information (ROI), secure health data exchange, and information security.
With 20+ years of experience in healthcare technology, Freeman has guided teams on complex interoperability projects to enable seamless and secure patient information sharing – connecting disparate systems and improving the accuracy, efficiency and security of health information workflows.
“John brings a strong background in integrating healthcare data systems, intelligent automation (IA), and cloud-based architecture,” says Anupriyo Chakravarti, Chief Technology and Product Officer at Verisma. “He has a proven track record of leading cross-functional and distributed teams through complex integration initiatives for accountable and continuous improvement.”
Freeman is leading the design, development and deployment of Verisma’s external and scalable integration strategy with electronic health record (EHR) systems, health information networks, and requestors. He’s also overseeing implementation to streamline health information exchange through interoperability standards including Fast Healthcare Interop Resources (FHIR) and the Trusted Exchange Framework and Common Agreement™ TEFCA, and establishing connectivity with qualified health information networks (QHIN).
